I was able to remain friends with all of my exes, so being facebook friends wasn't an issue.

When I heard one of them was getting married, I sent a message asking if I could have lunch with her before she got married. My intentions were pure; I just wanted to tell her in person how happy I was and that they'll be great together. In hindsight, though, I was way too earnest. I dropped her to avoid any further issues.

I read the messages and there was nothing about sex, hooking up, etc. Total tool bag trying to see what he could get away with and feel her out.

I guess he lives in Lehi too, I have a feeling if I ever run in to him I will have a hard time not beating his ass.
Have your wife invite him over and tell him you won't be home. Then confront him like Cris Hanson on Dateline. Only instead of verbally berating the guy you should use a bat.

If you follwed my tweets you would already know how I feel about facebook...

Once twitter came along, facebook died. It will be a slow death, to be sure, but it is expiring as we speak. Also, look at the adopters now......grandmothers, church groups, businesses/advertisers......once the clueless have clued in it loses the steam that drives the engine: the young college kids. If your mom or dad is thinking about setting up a facebook page, it is time to move on. And people are moving on.

Wait. So these online communities are driven by the young and sexy and fun? So then what does it mean if TD's starting to wax all serious while he plays the role of the grumpy old man down the street?

            heh.

that isn't the point. twitter is a progression. As was facebook when myspace was the number one social portal.

something will eventually come along to cause a seismic shift away from twitter. It will be about 6 months after that when many folks here will start opening twitter accounts.

I started a twitter account a long time ago out of curiosity, but have used it or logged on zero times. I really don't see how it's a progression at all-- facebook's "status" does the exact same thing that is twitter's primary and sole function. It seems like a way to track celebrities and that's it. How that is a progression is beyond me.

Don't you have to have a cell phone to use twitter?

Social Networks are like highschool parties, the fun stops as soon as the parents show up.
