I have a crazy friend from childhood that I recently became reacquainted with after he completed a 12 year stint in jail for nearly killing a man in a house he was robbing. The 'friend' is also a notorious liar, but he claims to have killed people, while in jail, for money. I have no idea if he is full of shit, but he is exactly the sort of insane where this might be true... so I voted 'yes.'

I only saw the movie once, but isn't this kind like "The Dark Knight" but instead if was the the Joker falling off the building, or ODing in Michelle Tanners loft, I can't recall which. How bizarre. Were charges brought against your friend?Originally posted by Babs View PostI guess I've never told you guys, but this really close friend of mine, he accidentally killed the district attorney once.
It was awful. They had worked together but always had a kind of rough relationship. Then this one time, they were messing around on the top of this building, and the DA fell to his death.
I mean, honestly, the DA was kind of a shady character and we were all relieved to be rid of him, but it was a huge ordeal for everybody involved. It was even more awkward for me, because my dad's in charge of the local police department and I had to watch him publicly vilify my closest friend.

A good friend of mine lived in the same apartment building where Mark Hacking killed his wife. I met them briefly a couple of times when I was over there. They seemed really nice, My friend was shocked when it happened. I think most people kind of think they would be able to tell if someone they knew was capable of something like this. Was anyone else here completely shocked when they found out a person they knew was a killer?"In conclusion, let me give a shout-out to dirty sex. What a great thing it is" - Northwestcoug

I think he went into hiding. We haven't seen much of him in awhile, but I anticipate we might expect a return summer 2010.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostI only saw the movie once, but isn't this kind like "The Dark Knight" but instead if was the the Joker falling off the building, or ODing in Michelle Tanners loft, I can't recall which. My sunday school teacher from when I was 14 is on Death Row with his brother; http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/n...others/11.html
Crazy, crazy dude. He used to make testimony meeting interesting. You may remember him as the guy that was going to get the gang of brazillian kids and kill the first presidency and q12 and set himself up as the prophet. His mom was nuts too.

After reading the story I rank the bizarreness as such:Originally posted by BigPiney View PostMy sunday school teacher from when I was 14 is on Death Row with his brother; http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/n...others/11.html

1) That guy was with that girl?
2) Your bishop let someone that looked like that teach the youth of his ward?
3) The whole murder thingy

I voted no, but then I remembered I went to High School with Mark Hacking. I even dated his sister.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

He didn't look super crazy when he taught us, was just returned from a mission. The murders came years later, though he was still nuts at the time, just didn't know he was serial killer nuts.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostAfter reading the story I rank the bizarreness as such:

I used to work at the Utah State Prison, so I only knew these guys after they'd been convicted. A little different, I guess.Originally posted by pellegrino View PostI voted no, but then I remembered I went to High School with Mark Hacking.
