  • Yesterday at Costco I screamed at a lady "kiss my a$% and get your teeth fixed you stupid b#$%^."

It was, admittedly, not my finest moment.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Wow. Next time, just say "no thanks" if you don't want the free samples.

Context coming, just as soon as I get my teeth fixed....

Ignore this, Gracie. Sometimes people need to hear things in no uncertain terms.

          • So Costco is selling big bags of whey protein isolate. Vanilla or chocolate flavor. 80 scoops for $30. Pretty nice price. It is made by the same company that makes muscle milk. In fact, it tastes just like muscle milk, delish.

            Each scoop: 27 g protein, 2 g fat, 130 calories. Definitely acceptable.

I bought a bag of vanilla today and had some tonight after the gym. Tastes really good and vanilla mixes better with blueberries, peanut butter, etc.

I brought my Costco stuff home today in a whey protein box. I've never liked the flavor of protein powder - maybe I'll have to give this a try.

It has definitely changed over the past decade. Powders used to be fairly gross, laced with a hint of flavoring.

These days, they taste like real shakes and are delish. Of course, some are higher in sugar or fat because of it, but unless you are doing macros, the extra gram or so of fat won't kill you.

A few brands of whey that taste rally good:

                Muscle milk
OPtimum Nutrition (ON) cake batter is my fave
syntha6 (strawberry, cookies and cream, banana are my faves)

If you are working out, grab a bag of the whey at Costco. Tastes good, esp with milk.

Im not a fan of chocolate, so i can't vouch for all th various iterations of chocolate flavor out there, but there are many.

I have been using this stuff for the last two months as well. Great taste. I love it.

                    • It should be mentioned again that the roast chicken at Costco pretty much rules. Seriously, $5. It's not even worth buying one and cooking it at home anymore.

we use these frequently... chicken noodle soup, sandwiches, quesadillas, etc.

I have noticed that other places sell similar roasters but they dont taste as good. For example, the ones you get at Smiths or Albertsons.....not quite as good as the Costco ones.

What's more, when you're done, put the carcass in a stock pot, cover with water +2 inches more, add some carrots, celery, garlic, salt, and thyme, and let it boil for a couple of hours, covered. Strain, and put it in the fridge or freezer (depending on your needs) to have the best chicken stock you can buy.

I have at least two bags of it on hand at all times. My wife and I are always using it. It is a key ingredient in my post workout smoothies.

                                Recipe?

Also, after lifting, are you guys using 1 scoop or 2? I have read views on both approaches.
