You know.... I do, too... that never occurred to me before. It's one of those small pleasures. I don't know if you were being sarcastic... but I'm not.

Me too. I prefer that Lava soap with pumice to those new creamy things to get them clean. Nothing makes me feel like I have earned my day more than having to wash my hands with pumice laden soap.
      PLesa excuse the tpyos.

      • During training in the Army I'd sometimes go for a week without access to a shower. There is nothing like showering and putting on some clean fatigues after living in dirt for a week.

Lava soap after a day of playing with an old motor...great memories.

I have always said that a good shower was the equivalent of 4 hours sleep, especially at hour 37 of 48 hours awake.

I'm not being sarcastic at all. When the soap is dirty when I'm done is a good feeling. Lava soap always reminds me of working on the station wagon with my grandpa. He called it "Lay-vuh" soap. Ah....the Western North "Caroliner" accent. "Cut them lights awf buoy; dontchew know that's expensive?"

                  • Note to interior designers: black tile in public restrooms may be fancy, but it is also reflective. Strike the bathroom part. Black tile in foyers that women in skirts have to cross to reach the elevators is also unkind.
