Seriously? Are you going to the funeral?

My wife might go. Not sure if we can make it work, though.

Like every man not named Mike Waters, I love The Godfather's. However, when I saw him the first thing I thought of Was That Thing You Do! I'm sick.

                Rowdy Roddy Piper, 61
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Sad. He was drafted right from high school by the Utah stars. I recall his commercial. "You can't shoot re ball if you ain't got the ball" or some such.

Seems like back in the day hoops stars were given iconic posters to cement their image. I'm talking before the Michael Jordan Wings poster. The Ice Man sitting on that throne of ice poster was awesome or that zany Dr Dunkenstein one with the split basketballs. I remember two Moses Malone posters. One was him wearing a suit sitting at that conference table and the poster read "Chairman of the Boards." And the classic one of him wearing a robe or whatnot, holding a basketball and a shepherds crook, with the word "Moses" written on the bottom in an ancient looking font, as though he were just descending from Mt. Sinai. those were some good times.

Chocolate Thunder was never mentioned in this thread.
                            I'm like LeBron James.

Gary Richrath. Guitarist for REO Speedwagon during their classic years.

I had a Magic Johnson growth chart that my dad and I spent a good 15 minutes making sure was perfectly calibrated with the floor to give accurate results. I got it for Christmas 1982, but I can't find a photo of it anywhere. About 1985, my little sister threw up all over it so it my mom threw it away.
