I think they should restart sports at BYU Idaho.

This whole thread is killing me. It may have been just JC ball but when CSI, Dixie or Snow would come to town it was a good time. I now watch the kids now play fake football or have fake track meets and I like the idea of having more students participate in sports but I do miss the real thing.

Yeah they're not cougars- they're vikings. BYU doesn't even transfer religion credits from Ricks- why does anyone think it's the same institution? The BYU part? That's some deceptive shit."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

The bigger question is, why do you need a mascot if you don't have a sports program?Originally posted by Commando View PostYeah they're not cougars- they're vikings. I still think dropping sports was a bad idea."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I was at Ricks in '90 - '91 when a future NFL running back played there. His name escapes me right now. I think he played for the Panthers. Cooper? Help me out, RC.

I agree that dropping sports was a bad idea. Sporting events makes for good, clean (mostly anyways) after school activities. Besides, it's not like the church could't afford it or anything.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostThe bigger question is, why do you need a mascot if you don't have a sports program?

By tip-only I assume you are referring to "docking". Just asking.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostI was at Ricks in '90 - '91 when a future NFL running back played there. His name escapes me right now. I think he played for the Panthers. Cooper? Help me out, RC.

Maybe in theory, but as one who was attending before and after sports disappeared, I did notice a severe drop in awesome dudes strutting around campus after sports disappeared.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostThe bigger question is, why do you need a mascot if you don't have a sports program?
