  • San Francisco hotel recommendation?

I've been to San Francisco a number of times and stayed in several different hotels, but I'd love to get a fresh perspective from the group here. I've been searching for places relatively close to Union Square, but I'd love to hear if there are any hotels in SF that you particularly love or have heard great things about.

I enjoyed my stay at the Huntington Hotel. It isn't that far from Union Square. I've been to dance conventions at the Westin St. Francis right in the heart of Union Square and wasn't that impressed with that.

You might like the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. It seems like it might be the type of thing you'd enjoy.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Tim, if you stay at a Holiday Inn Express then you can make jokes during your visit about how you're not an expert but you did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. They'd be extra funny because it would be true. Something to consider...
