You'll be fine. Just having a response for every question puts you ahead of where many candidates are.

Studying for the bar sucks WAY more than taking it. I get in a zone when I'm taking a test - like playing Nintendo or something, if I'm explaining myself. However, I think waiting for the results is the worst part. :/

Also, most states get results out in October instead of December.

A lot of people don't like how California releases results. I think most states use identification numbers to release test results on the internet. Examinees can check their number to see if they passed, but the public at large doesn't know how a particular person performed on the exam. Not so in California.

In California, examinees get the results sometime on a Friday afternoon/evening (if I remember correctly). They then have the weekend to prepare, if necessary, because the state releases a list of names of those who passed the exam on Sunday or so. Family, friends, colleagues, employers - everyone knows how you did when you roll in on Monday morning.
Nevada does the same thing. It posts a big list of those who passed. It also tells you what your score was on the MBE.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

They wouldn't let him in the next morning, and he couldn't finish the test. Of course, you're smarter than that. That's also why you'll do just fine tomorrow.
Yeah, I took it by computer. I didn't even wait to get home. I went to the nearest starbucks and uploaded them there.

Agreed. I left the exam grinning from ear to ear, 100% confident that I'd passed. By the time results were released a mere 3.5 mos later, I was sure I'd failed.

Here's a good tip: In TX you can take the essay questions home with you...if it's the same in IL, don't do it. Get rid of them; throw them away; don't check your work.

              Oh, did that suck.

I had overestimated how nice it is to immediately check your answers and see how you did.

Enjoy the relief for now. The anxiety will resume in October if not sooner.

This article backs up what I've been telling people lately: if you are going to a top 15 school, or if somebody or something is paying your way, then go. Otherwise, eat your applications fees and call yourself lucky.

Oh, my gosh, niku, I almost gave a girl your number last week. (No, not like THAT, sickos!) She's a rising 2L, already almost a hundred in debt, and decided to transfer to a higher-ranked, more expensive school. Did I mention she turned down her invitation to law review in order to transfer?

Before she made the decision, I was trying to help her out with concepts like debt load and financial solvency, but I realized pretty quick that it was hopeless.

i wonder how this analysis changes when the opportunity cost of attending law school is lower, via a scholarship or a lower cost school.

Went to law school for a semester 25 years ago, then dropped out to get an MBA. Haven't spent a day regretting that decision.
