    Comic Sans

Cool article in the inventor of Comic Sans. I myself don't care much for the font, but I bear no ill will toward it. Apparently some folks seek it's removal from this digital world.

When it comes to fonts, I'm pretty much a TNR or Arial guy. Nothing too dazzling. Sometimes I'll use an obnoxious font in an email to a co-worker, but the timing and content have to be right. If you'd like to try this, I recommend Harlow Solid Italic, Mistral or Jokerman. One font I would like to see gain traction is Garamond. Now that really is a nice looking font.

You are being silly, but I use comic sans all the time for kid projects for my son's classes.

How can you like both TNR and arial? They're on opposite ends of the font spectrum!

Now me, I prefer fonts without serifs. Gives the text a cleaner look. I like Verdana and Lucida, for example.

I used to work as an editor at a textbook company. You know there's actually software where you can edit the fonts or create your own. Come to think of it, Y, if you want I can get you a copy of the software so you can create the ideal obnoxious font.

I prefer Wingdings. I use it often just to annoy people in emails.

Um, actually Lucida is a serif font. At least the Lucida you used in your post. Sorry to nitpick.

I don't hate Comic Sans nearly as much as Tim. He won't even read websites that use the font.

Ha! how funny. I dropped in the wrong Lucida. I can't believe you caught that.

That's not nice that you hate Tim. You should apologize.

Ha! how funny. I forgot to clarify that Tim hates Comic Sans more than I do. I can't believe you caught that.

I heard Alicia looks like Barbie, so I figured it was pretty much the same.

I like that you have a quiver of babes (or are they babs?) ready to jump in and take the starring role that is your avatar. The recent changes have been quite interesting.

I'm a definite Garamond fan. I have it set as the default font for my work email account. If that's unprofessional, then I don't want to be professional.

I concur. I use Garamond quite regularly at work and even in personal use when I am in need of a Serif. There are a few others I'll use, but Garamond is probably #1.

When I am looking for a Sans-Serif I usually lean towards Futura, Arial or Helvetica. I'm a big fan of simplicity and a sleek, clean look though, and those fonts reflect that.

                              Just my preference though.
