I love the climate in Utah. Four distinct seasons. Cool, dry evenings in the summer. Winters are relatively mild.

Utah weather is great. I'm really looking forward to it beginning with escaping the Houston heat and humidity this summer.

If you have to stay in one location for the whole year, Utah is hard to beat.

I didn't think so before, but having spent 3 years in Minnesota I definitely agree that Utah winters are mild.

Dec-March: too cold to stay outside for very long, esp for little kids
April-June: nice enough to be outside, but kids are still in school
July-Sep: too hot to stay outside until later in the evening
Oct-Nov: warm enough to be outside, but everything looks dead

And while the weather in SoCal may not beat what they have going on in Utah, there are plenty of nice days.
