    The thread re overrated stuff

    This thread is dedicated to overrated stuff. Ground rule: no Rivalry smack. Yawn to that.

    My first entrant: The Economist magazine. Hugely respected. The articles are brief, digest-like summaries. The writing or analysis never dazzles or even impresses or provokes. Not much inovation or subversion. Clorophorm in print.

                                              I was worried your inclusion would be too obvious a TIC. Jeff Lebowski is much smarter than DDD, however.
