Eh.... probably just as likely, actually.

Vettes are for middle aged men that think the world of themselves, are going through midlife crisis, can't afford the "Lambo" but are trying to impress their neighbors anyway.

The crappy thing about a Z07 is that while it may perform as well as a Ferrari and/or "Lambo" at a fraction of the cost, it looks just like the 60K stock Corvette.

If you have 120+K laying around to buy a ZO7, why not just buy a lightly used supercar?

I haven't gotten used to seeing the occasional Lamborghini, or Lotus, or Ferrari cruising the streets where I live. I never saw one in real life in the first 21 years of my life. They are beautiful cars, but so ostentatious. I try to look at the drivers, to see if it is some celebrity, but I never recognize them. I wonder what frame of mind possesses someone to buy one of these things (assuming they aren't going to take it out regularly to the track), because there are very few places to legally explore the machine's capabilities. Then I wonder if I could ever achieve such a state of mind, to find whatever that is in my nature. And what extent of the design is the result of pure engineering, representing a brand's dedication to a certain kind of handling and aerodynamics as the ideal, and how much of the design is just art? You look at variations of these things through the decades, and they have changed very significantly, reflecting what? Advances in the engineering of the form? Advances is materials and manufacturing processes? Or is it mostly art?

Anyone know of any documentaries on the subject?

What would posess someone to spend $300K on a car like that?

              Small penis.

Possibly. Or you simply have a lot of money and 300k isn't a big expense.

I didn't peg you as the "pride looking up" type.

I like to think that it was Hamill's best work.

I have a friend that has a Ferrari in his A/C and heated garage (which is cleaner than most people's kitchens). He almost never drives it. He had to have his driveway modified so he could just take it out so it wouldn't bottom out coming over the sidewalk. He his a custom racing seat in the garage mounted in a frame next to the car with a steering wheel connected to a game console and flat screen running a F1 racing simulator. I have never seen his TV tuned to anything besides the speed channel and often tells me about how he and his wife stayed up until 2am to watch a F1 race live. The guy is a total motor head.

As for a small penis, I wouldn't know. He doesn't have any kids, however.
