I really should limit myself to the mini size but how can you turn down almost twice as much for only cents more?

Exactly. Not even DDD could resist the siren's song of the large shake.

I suspect we're using the term "personality" loosely here, right?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Jan is always 1 syllable away from tripping on his tongue. He sounds like a spud farmer: super sweet and earnest but no flash.
Gunther's zany delivery sounds too forced at times. I do like it when he talks about gingers.
Hans sounds like he is spitting all over everything when he talks. He'd probably give Lou Holtz a run for his money in the wet microphone department. And puhleeze, don't ever do another accent ever again.
OC: Good accents, but he's curiously unconnected to the local sports scene which is weird since he played at Utah.
            Riley: Gun for hire.
            PK: Jerk for hire.
Monson: Pedantic and eager to "teach" his listeners how to stop being such sports cavemen and tune into their softer, more liberal side. His old school references are recognized by 5% of his general audience and 0% of his target demographic.

              Most entertaining is Gunther.
              Most connected/knowledgable is Jan.
Biggest blowhard tie between Monson and Locke.
Best voice/tone for the radio and best delivery is OC.

I agree with you 100%, especially on the bolded part. I also like Scott Giarrard, because he is a nuetral Utah State Aggie. 1320 has a guy named Riley Jensen (I think he is an old BYU player) on regularly that really knows his football stuff, but he is not a daily host.

Riley played at Cottonwood (go Colts) then went to Snow. He spent 1 year at BYU then transferred to USU. I think he is coaching back at Cottonwood now.

Sounds like not many here listen to Bill Riley.

Ben Bagley and Scott Garrard are pretty good on 1320. Locke gets pretty annoying, Alema seems to biased towards things sometimes which turns me the wrong way.

Bill Riley seems pretty good on ESPN 700. I don't listen to much 1280.

This morning I listened to 1280 for 4 minutes until I got a chance to change the radio in the car. In that time, PK, in referring to the Utes playing on the little known Pac12 Channel, said that the Utes were "regulated" to the Pac12 channel.

                        It's "relegated," dumbass.

And when 1320's Monty was interviewing Greg Wrubell about BYU's defensive effort, he said they play with "veracity".

That was a proposed tenet of BYU's football program, but it got nixed in favor of "Honor".

It was most likely intentional. Part of his schtick is to routinely incorporate common mispronounciations, e.g. irregardless.

He is obnoxious, but I think he is pretty smart when it comes to the english language. He did get a journalism degree from ASU (I know the ASU part doesn't really help my point much).

Hard to know for sure, I think you're giving him too much credit.
