Favorite sports radio personality in utah?

I am doing a survey to see who the favorite sports radio personality is here in Utah.

Of the home-grown former players group, Sean O'Connell seems to be the one with the most natural radio talent. Bill Riley is the best broadcaster. He sounds and acts like a pro and runs a good show, with none of the silly schtick that the other guys run.

Tough call. OC does a great job. I think his personality makes him a natural. Gunther is also a natural although he lies more on the wacky side of natural. I've laughed the hardest when Gunther is going off and I love it when Monson teases Gunther about his mother. Jan is at his best when discussing the technical aspects of sports and does a good job breaking down the numbers. He has the least natural ability but has improved his game significantly. The thing with all the above guys is they really require a co-host in order for the show to work.

If I had to pick one guy in the SLC market who can carry a show by himself it's David James. Very knowledgable, does a good job staying neutral, has done very well when guest hosting Jim Rome, and is a good interviewer. If it weren't for PK I'd probably listen to DJ instead of Hans and OC.

At Crescent View Middle School there was an argument between the Sandy and Draper guys on who had the best shakes: Ballard's Ice Berg or Big B's. Its been too long for me to remember how good a Big B's shake was.

I agree. I don't mind his lack of smoothness because his knowledge of football makes him worth listening to. Besides, he comes across as a really good guy. I also laugh when Gunther calls him Janimal.

I live mere blocks away from Woody's and take advantage of their shakes on a weekly basis. I haven't had an Iceberg shake (Ballard's version at least) in years. Maybe I'll swing down there this weekend when I visit the parents and try one again.
