French is annoying enough, but hearing english spoken in a french accent is unbearable.

I actually think that hearing French spoken with an English accent is worse.

I think French is a beautiful language, and French accents are awesome. So I guess we disagree on this one.

How much I like the accent is in direct relationship to how good looking she is.

Male french accents make me squirm.

I agree with '71. If an even moderately attractive girl sports a French accent I immediately want to bed her

If any guy has the accent I immediately want to punch him. Two punches if they're from Quebec.

Don't be a hater. At least mine is an American accent.

I can't believe YouTube didn't have Monique's rant about Ricky's testicles. YouTube has let me down.

What, are you kidding? Accents are crazy hot. Just yesterday I got asked out by a Russian LLM student with a super think accent. He's almost pretty cute, too, but take away the accent and totally ho-hum.

Not sure if I should mention this. It might piss off everyone in this thread. I tried to learn French in Montreal. So not only was I speaking French in a Spanglish accent, I had to throw in the Quebec joual to boot. It wasn't pretty.

I lived in Belgium for a couple of years and was told by our french landlady that my accent sounded like "a dutch camel." I was too intimidated by her to ask what experience she had with talking dutch camels.

Later I served a mission in Quebec and found that my camel characteristics fit right in on this side of the pond. Now, whenever we travel to french speaking countries, the locals always think I am canadian, which can be good.

In general, I like the french accent.
                            PLesa excuse the tpyos.

FTR, I never developed a French accent when speaking French. Even the last months of my mission I sounded American. I had the pronunciation correct, but the accent was just not my forte. I still can't do a proper French "r" sound.

One thin I found interesting is that the french consider Italian to be the language of love.
