How many snoozes is too many?

Normally, I am the one who gets up early. If I am teaching an early class, I DO NOT snooze for fear that I will not make it to teach in time. But when it's just my own workout on the line, I usually hit snooze once, sometimes twice, because I love being able to roll over and snuggle up to danimal. In almost 13 years of marriage, he has yet to complain about this.

Morning snuggles are pretty awesome.

I think this is a good point.

It seems that those that don't hit snooze probably are in a loveless marriage and can't wait to get out of bed. It all makes sense now.

Never understood the snooze. If you're going to hit the snooze twice, why not just set the alarm to include the two snoozes you would have taken and get a good twenty minutes of sleep instead of laying there half-dazed for twenty minutes?

Snoozes are for bitches. Real men don't even need alarm clocks. I tell myself that I am going to get up at 5:30 and my body automatically wakes up at that time. No alarm clock, no snoozing, no bitching, moaning and going back to sleep. I get the eff up and like Tim said attack the mother trucking day like a damn champion.

I will see Tim and raise him: when you are sleeping in a bed with someone else, snooze is lazy and immature. You aren't in HS anymore. GTFO and get up like an adult. People that are asleep want to remain so, and your stupid ring tone multiple times is plain inconsiderate. And no, one snooze isn't cool, either.

I don't get snooze anyway. Wtf? Set your alarm for when you need to get up and then get up. That extra 5 minutes of sleep at 4:45AM isn't going to matter anyway.

In fairness, you probably aren't seeing many responses from the snoozers because they are too lazy to respond.

"Oh, I'm so tired. An extra 5 minutes of sleep will really make a big difference. I'm going to lay here like a slug and avoid my life for a few minutes longer...."

When I am asleep, I am not affectionate, I'm asleep. I hit snooze to keep myself from snuggling up and falling back asleep.
