Any kid that did not love Shakey's pizza in the 70s is either lying or never played any sort of team sports. Wood paneling, free flowing root beer, runny pizza with a thin layer of cheese on top. Yum!

Seriously, does Shakey's ever get any business from anyone other than youth sports leagues?

ps I digress. Apparently there is also a small market for the "first date" demographic....

Welcome, Shakey. Good to see you here.

Has your wife heard of any specific gathering for alums of the Italy Catania Mission, specifically Pres. Turner?

She hasn't. And she said hi.

Shakey, All I want to know is if Tommy Shaw was pissed that I stiffed him for a hot date.

Other than that your daughter should cook for the first CUF party.

The band was heading to the airport to go their separate ways right after the show so the meet and greet was canceled. Tommy did call us back and talked to us for 20 or so minutes.

We told him we wouldn't leave until he told us one song on the upcoming Shaw-Blades album. They have recorded Carry On by CSN&Y, a Green Day song that I can't remember, and one more song that I also can't remember. I suck. I'll ask Doug what the other two songs are.

Christian, Todd Sucherman's drummer friend from Berkely in Boston said to tell you hi. TS was devastated that you spurned him.

                Wait...

Shaky, you hang with Tommy Shaw?

My respect for you just increased at least 8 Pieces.

Christian? Isn't he living in SLC? If so I may need to chat with him about a future project.

Maybe Tommy can make it up to us on May 4th.

Christian is still in LA doing studio work and documentaries. He actually asked about you. I think he has a crush.

There was a Shakey's Pizza in downtown Osaka that did a tabe-hodai (all you can eat) on our P-days. Imagine a bunch of 19-20 year old American kids walking into a pizza parlor after months of eating Japanese food. We went absolutely midieval on that buffet. I felt sorry for the owners.

Welcome aboard, Shakey. I never really got to know you on CB (I used to post there a long time ago). But you sound like my kind of guy. You certainly have excellent taste in music.

It took me a second to get the "necklaces" part.....I was on narcotics when I wrote that line.......and I took it down when I sobered up.

My wife may or may not be cute to others, but I find her devastatingly mesmerizing. She has to give me a "CUT IT OUT" look all the time in Sacrament. She's damn distracting in red.
