My ball of choice is the Spalding TF1000. It's what I used in HS and what I have always bought since. My old man had an official NBA game back in the day. The group he used to run with would only play with them. But they don't last as long as composite and once that leather gets worn a bit they're too slick to be useful. I have played with the Wilson Solution and it's a decent ball. But it feels a bit spongy sometimes. What about the Evolution? I don't think I have ever played with it. Also, I have never played with the Nike Elite Ball, but I know that it's kind of become the ball in college. Eastbay has it for $45 right now. Is it a nice ball? I really hate the giant swoosh on it. But if it's good enough for Jimmer....

Go to hell. I started up basketball on Saturday mornings again at the stake center. First week we had 3 guys. Last week 6. Hopefully this week we can get 10 to run full court.
The first week it was just me and my dad and an investigator. We just shot around and then played a couple games of 21. Anyway, the investigator says to me afterward that if he walked into a gym and didn't know me, I'd be the guy he wanted to guard.
I had a friend in college that toted around an official NBA game ball. He kept it wrapped in a towel and would bring it when we played at the chapel. he was really serious about it. I remember it being slippery, which explains all the talc these NBA players use.
One time we were walking out to the parking lot after playing in the chapel and we were all standing around talking by the car. I wasnt thinking and bounced the ball a couple of times on the asphalt. My friend gave me an earful about that.
