Yeah, that's not a bad look at all. My fat strat and partscaster will contribute to that kind of a look.

I know what you mean about the duffers who try to dress like a young rocker. In a weird way, I think that's one of the things I don't like about B.C. Rich and Dean guitars. They just look like a young person should be playing them.

You realize you can't dicktease us about your costume and not post pictures afterward, don't you? Good.

Yeah. We 'Old' guys should never play Dean...

      Dave Mustaine, 50 yrs:

(granted Dave Mustaine is timelessly young-looking, and untold millions of women are jealous of his hair...)

      Michael Schenker, 56 yrs:

      Leslie West, 66 yrs:

And of course you can't forget the original Cowboy From Hell, Dimebag Darrell:

Then again, that BC Rich Warlock I so desperately wanted when I was 15 years old would look unbelievably out of place on my adult 6'6" frame (not to mention it is a TINY geetar, barely bigger than a Steinberg Trans-Trem). I just don't have enough pseudo-machismo to pull it off.

Meh, the new Dean Soltero are very cool. Old dudes could play those no problem. The Cadillac is also decent.

I know that serious metal heads--like Mustaine--play Dean. I just see a lot of young folks playing them and that seems to be their target market (that, and people who are obsessed with Dimebag).

If I were a serious metal head I could pull off a Dean. I'm not familiar with the Soltero and Cadillac models.

They are Les Paul type guitars. Soltero is sort of a cross between a PRS and a LP while the Cadillac is pretty much an LP just with the lower horn being what you find on an Explorer. Above Leslie West is pictured with a Cadillac. They are incredible LP style guitars but the lower horn takes some getting used to.

This guy is also 6'6 and wears cowboy boots. You could pull this look off I bet.
