Time to fess up to possessing a contraband pair of BYU PE Department clothing either currently or at any time in the past

I saw this picture of Jimmer in the paper and was disappointed to see that he was flaunting the rules (and the law) by wearing this stolen merchandise.



However, just as I was about to cast that first stone, I paused, feeling the overwhelming discomfort of a massive beam in my own eye.

I kept a pair of BYU issue and still have it. Shorts and t shirt.

Didn't you find it odd to wear clothes that other people have sweat in? I'd guess that that would be at the heart of why you kept your set.

I had the holy trifecta at one time.
* Standard Issue BYU Physical Education -grey shirt with short blue poly-blend shorts.
* Varsity Athlete Issue- Royal Blue shirt and shorts with old cougar paw in the U logo
* Very rare, but always conversation starting MTC Physical Education Instructor-grey shirt with red lettering and red knee-length shorts.

Actually, he was flouting the rules. But yes, I used to own a couple dozen pair of those no-elastic gym socks they used to give you. I didn't need them, but collecting them was something of a hobby.

DDD was at the Y about the same time as me. It is a well known fact, the official BYU gear were/are NTS huggers. Not surprising to hear he still has a pair, is it?

I went to BYU long enough ago that they still had those shorts with the strange combination of being both too short and too baggy. I had no desire to keep a pair. They were almost as bad as the swimsuits, best described as "A Speedo for Two of You". The clinginess still haunts me.

I am also DDD's vintage and own a set. However I feel no guilt as I ended up paying for it.

Yes - you go to the locker in the RB and check out exercise clothing - shorts, t-shirt, socks, towel, you can even get a jock. Go to gym class, sweat in your clothes. Go back to the locker after class. Shower. Turn in the dirty clothing for a fresh set. Repeat daily.

Actually, it's great - if you have a gym class in the morning you don't have to carry your sweaty clothes in a gym bag around campus the rest of the day.
