No. He started in Jackson, TN, and moved to Atlanta when they bought out all the Piggly Wigglys north of Macon, GA. He was the buyer for their produce. Apparently, his nickname on the farmers market was "Too High Williams" because no matter what price someone told him, he'd counter with "too high."

I can't access this document, but here's his name attached to a legal document:

Rick's been cutting my hair for years, ever since their shop was in Murray. I drive down there from Bountiful. He's a very good barber and a good dude.

I always have him use the straight razor on the back of my neck, and he's never cut me once... everytime he brings that thing out though... I have a mental image of a severed artery spewing blood.

Can't imagine sitting through a straight razor shave.

I'll give you $50 for it. That will help you get into a nice pair of headphones for late night gaming. Its the thought that counts Gidget, and you can think about how much use I'll get out of it.

I've used a braun for the last 6 years and its been great, but its pretty much on its way out. Lately I've had to use disposables I got from Smiths on super clearance. Since they were so cheap, I don't feel bad using them for 1 week and then chucking them.

During the school year I only shave twice a week and during the summer, it's once a week at most.
Shower-shaving for me too. Sometimes soap, sometimes not. No mirror. Occasionally miss a spot right under my nose. No razor burn unless the blade gets dull - but I only use a razor with disposable blades (Mach whatever it is now), and never disposable razors. Those tear my face apart and leave me with horrible razor burn.

I get cut maybe two or three times a year. It always seems to be right before church...

Wahl with attachments for the goatee. For the rest, Mach 3 with Barbasol shaving cream prior to the shower. Twice with the grain, once against. During the work week, shave every other day; let it go over the weekend.

As we were cleaning out the attic of the ranch thats been in our family for four generations, I found a box of bank statements and checks from the 30s and earlier. Inside was a well used Gillette safety razor similar to this:

I spent a couple of hours cleaning it up tonight, and had a great shave with Merkur platinum blades, Proraso eucalyptus cream, and Burberry after shave. It's kind of cool to he able to connect with the past like that.

Wow. That is so friggin awesome. I love those things. That is how feel like you shave like a man. The only thing more manly than that is shaving with a straight razor. Nice pickup! I love finding trinkets like that from the past.

I have traditionally shaved with the Mach3, once a week, meaning that most of the time I wear a stubble beard. No more. I bought a stubble trimmer, and now I just wear a stubble beard all the time. Bye bye razor burn and ingrown hairs!

That sounds very appealing. I have a similar approach to your previous habit, only I shave twice a week. I don't have problems ingrown hairs or razor burn, but I dislike shaving and I do like the way I look with stubble.
