Geez, I want to upgrade now. With these features, I can't see much reason to get the MBP.
Interesting they put a MagSafe port on the Air but not on the MBP.

My philosophy with batteries, whether laptop, phone, or whatever, has always been that any gain you may be able to get in battery life by babying them is offset by the stress, bother, and inconvenience of doing the babying.

r/iphone and similar places frequently have posts saying things like "Help! I always keep my battery between 20% and 80%, and never fast charge or leave it plugged in overnight. I check my battery status daily and within the last week it went from 94% to 88%! What happened here and how can I prevent it???"

That's no way to live life.

Which is why, if you don't require mobility, it's better to get a desktop that doesn't introduce any battery issues to worry about.

Wrong. Rotary is where it's at.
