How much is gas where you're at?

The line at the Bountiful Costco tonight about 5:30 was out the parking lot (I didn't get in line, so I don't know what their prices were). I've never seen anything like it, even on the busiest Saturday.

Gas just down the road was $4.29 at Exxon, and $3.99 right across the street at Chevron. Crazy times. I think gas station owners know they can jack prices up right now based on the public perception and fear of the situation.

Previous record of $4.10 per gallon set in 2008 has fallen as gas prices continue to rise

The national average price of gasoline in the U.S. today broke the existing record, rewriting the all-time high to today’s $4.104 per gallon, according to GasBuddy, the leading fuel savings platform saving North American drivers the most money on gas. The previous all-time high was set back in 2008 at $4.103 per gallon, just ahead of the U.S. Great Recession and housing crisis. The national average price of diesel is also nearing a new record, now at $4.63 per gallon, likely to break the record of $4.846 per gallon in the next two weeks.

In addition to setting a new all-time high, the national average is seeing its largest ever 7 day spike: 49.1 cents per gallon, eclipsing the 49.0 cent weekly rise after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

I'm curious how you can call a town too small to have a gas station in it a "city".

We will have gas stations soon. And news article said our growth will make us third largest city in the county.

$3.869 at the Costco in Meridian, if I remember correctly.

There is no gas station in my city, so the two nearest cities are either $4.29 or $4.47 and up. Those two prices are the cheapest prices in both cities.
