    • I paid $5.20 for premium this morning. I think regular was $4.50.

Your Chevy Malibu will probably still work with regular.

          • 4.50 currently. I'm sure we'll see 5 here soon.

            • The line at the Bountiful Costco tonight about 5:30 was out the parking lot (I didn't get in line, so I don't know what their prices were). I've never seen anything like it, even on the busiest Saturday.

Gas just down the road was $4.29 at Exxon, and $3.99 right across the street at Chevron. Crazy times. I think gas station owners know they can jack prices up right now based on the public perception and fear of the situation.

              • My wife said the gas line at Costco went on forever. Same knuckleheads were probably in the store buying TP and bottled water.

Ha, yep. I wonder how many still had more than half a tank left but still waited half an hour to save $5. I guarantee that many people weren’t suddenly on empty tanks.

                  • I just put $70.00 worth of gasoline in my car - 16.28 gallons.

                    It's only money, right?

Maybe they should adopt that odd/even buying rule...

How would that work for people like me with no numbers on any of my license plates?

I'm seriously curious what the rule would be for that.
