Gas here has been in the $1.70-1.80 range but suddenly jumped up about $.10 everywhere yesterday.

My wife just texted me she filled up for 29 bucks. Last time that happened was probably 2009 but we were in Utah at the time.

About 1:30 yesterday (a Saturday), it was about 5 cars deep in each lane at the Orem Costco. Definitely better to find an off time.

I haven't noticed gas lines at the Costco in Orem. I filled up there the other day when I was in town. It was around 11:00.

The Costco in St. George is now only a dime cheaper which means the wait isn't worth it. Still, there are Nixon era lines. The store manager told me that old people are even more obsessed with gas prices than everyone else and there's no shortage of old people in St. George.
