your helpfulness on the matter is commendable.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostI went to the page but i guess I dont understand the problem. That text is too small for you to read? i agree with you that the ipad is the pinnacle of human achievement and to suggest that it may be improved in any way is obviously a waste of time.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postfeel free to chime in since you are also an iPad user

Its smaller than I'd prefer. Apple must have recognized that different people prefer different sized print because they included a zoom feature. But the zoom doesn't work perfectly on every single web page because of how those pages are structured. Which is what makes re-flow so nice. You can zoom to any text you like and the text fits perfectly in the screen. Its such an obvious feature I can't understand why its not included. It can't be hard to implement. Why not add it?Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostI went to the page but i guess I dont understand the problem. That text is too small for you to read? that is nonsense. The iPad 3 will undoubtedly be even better than the iPad 2. We will both be able to own one this year! Better said, one of us will own, one will admire.Originally posted by camleish View Posti agree with you that the ipad is the pinnacle of human achievement and to suggest that it may be improved in any way is obviously a waste of time.Fitter. I see what you are saying. I don't know, frankly. It isn't something I would use very much. I have a mental list of things I want them to implement, though.Originally posted by falafel View PostIts smaller than I'd prefer. Do we have an iPad questions thread?
How come when I plug my iPad into my PC and open iTunes, the only app that shows on the list on the PC is iBooks? Then, if I check the "Sync Apps" box, it gives me a warning that the contents of my iPad will be replaced by the contents of the computer (which I assume to be iBooks)? This scares me every time, so I click on Cancel.
I don't care all that much what apps show up on iTunes, but why is the list there at all? Should I care?
iTunes confuses me. Both on the iPad and on my PC. All this stuff that has nothing to do with music....
Oh, one more thing: when I updated the OS, I lost all of my apps and have had to manually reinstall each on of them--a complete PITA. Is there an easier way?At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I am guessing that this is a new PC or new install of the software on a PC. If so you may need to authorize the itunes/PC to work with the iPad. From the menu bar click Store->Authorize This Computer. Once it authorized then do a manual backup of the iPad. I believe the iPad won't be automatically sync'ed to multiple computers and you will have to do it manually. Authorizing it won't put the apps in the display. For that, you have to click on "transfer purchases" to put all the apps on the computer.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostI am guessing that this is a new PC or new install of the software on a PC. As far as sync is concerned, click on "manually sync" or whatever that option says. That way you have more of a drag and drop interface.
I also find iTunes annoying in that there are too many restrictions. Just let me plug my device into whatever computer I want and let me drag and drop files. The automatic sync of entire folders is annoying.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Also, remember the you can only authorize up to 5 computers on one device at a time. Wen you try to authorize the 6th computer, the iPad deletes a prior authorization...hopefully the first authorization, not the most recent. Nobody can say for sure...why? Because iTunes doesn't allow you to manage your authorizations. Very helpful when a year later you aren't exactly sure which computers are authorized.

Its all in the apps. The hardware is nothing to write home about.Originally posted by Shaka View PostPicked up the latest iPad last Friday. The screen is cool but right now I'm underwhelmed. I think 90% of the people on the planet would do just as well with a Kindle Fire.
