No kidding! All of those flabby arms in the beginning? Only Relief Society gets more pornographic than that.

Here is my question. Why is it legal to sell a product implying that it will burn fat from one specific area? That just isn't how it works. I'm so sick of workout problems that make these kinds of statements.

FACT: Everyone burns fat from genetically predetermined areas. The first place I gain and lose weight from is in my face. For some people it is in their butt and for others it might be their gut. The thing is, you can't exercise a specific area of your body and expect to preferentially burn fat from that area.

Working out your arm muscles will not mean that you will necessarily burn more arm fat than working out your leg muscles. It just does not work that way.

I wish they would just promote the thing saying it builds arm strength and develops arm muscles. It makes me mad (well, in an eye rolling kind of way) when they suggest that it will get rid of the relief society arms.

If you develop muscle mass behind the fat the area will definitely look more toned even before you have lost all of that fat. This is probably reasonable enough to keep the company out of court.

That may be what keeps them out of court. Who knows. It just seems like the effect would be so minimal that it would be virtually undetectable. Those chicks had a few inches of fat hanging down their arms and to push that fat into something more shapely would mean putting on a few inches worth of muscle on that same arm. Just doesn't seem likely. It really does seem to me, though, that they are implying that you will lose fat from that area specifically and not that you will be pushing the fact around.

I just wish someone on TV with some clout would come and educate people about how foolish all of these "flab targeting" products are.

Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

The spokeswoman (in green) is the same woman who was in those KY warming commercials a few years ago. Coincidence?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Do you often study KY and shake weight commercials?

Are you saying you don't? Geez, I thought that was one of the requirements of posting on the board.
