The first month my wife worked at the Palmetto (South Carolina) Poison Control Center she had two calls about idiots who had worked at funeral homes who had stolen fentanyl patches from deceased cancer patients. Apparently the mortician's assistants were sharing info on how to get high off dead people's drugs. Rifle through their pockets and purses for painkillers - loved ones won't miss them - and take their pain patches!

Both were found dead - a little too late for the PCC. One was in his back yard on a hammock, and one in a fishing boat. Both had multiple patches on them, and both had all the patches exposed to the SC sun that only quickened the fentanyl's release and their own demise.

All narcotics make me . I'd make a lousy addict.

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
