      Oh no doubt some people care. I'm sure United will drop off quite a few people's list of preferred airlines. But for those who have no airline loyalty and use Kayak to find the cheapest price, I'm skeptical that this will make them swear off United.

        Some have suggested they knocked the dude unconscious before dragging him out. I can't tell from the video, other than he was screaming bloody murder one second and then was being dragged out silent the next.

          800 sounds like a good deal to me. For that kind of bribe, my destination can wait!

              Weird. I've never seen United go higher than offering $500 to be bumped. There's always a couple people that take them up at that amount. Dumb move by United, though.

                      Things like this make me think Sooner might not have always been completely full of crap. If someone had given me a first hand account of this happening I would have rolled my eyes. Sooner should be always wear a body cam.

                                I think I would take the $800 minus the knock in the head... but it would have to be in cash and none of that travel voucher crap.
