Doc, if someone accidentally swallowed a piece of dry ice (who hasn't played with a piece of it in their mouth?), would it burn a hole in their stomach?

the heat from the electricity moving down the wire essentially vaporized it. All that is left is a black mark where it was tied to the ground.

I once got arrested in downtown Atlanta while I was skipping school; I think I was 17. When the cop turned away to go get some other kids (we were in the CNN Center), my two friends and I ran down this hallway thing and out some doors. Only, those doors were only access to an outside smoking area that you could not get down from. We had to go back inside to get out. We waited for like a half hour, and the cop never came out looking for us. We made it home safely. I never told my parents that I got arrested (they knew I was skipping) until after my mission.

It was the day of the 1991 Atlanta Braves World Series parade, and someone had gotten shot in the MARTA station at the CNN Center, and they were cracking down on all the truants. Running from the cops was pretty dumb.

In 8th grade my friend and I blew up our science classroom. The entire class was mixing some hydrochloric acid, zinc and seashells in a little glass container. The mixture released hydrogen gas and when a flame was put to it, it made a little pop.

Being the geniuses that we were at the time, we decided that more hydrogen gas = louder bang. We didn't think that a louder bang = more force.

His sister was the student aid for the class, so we convinced her to get the biggest beaker in the lab (which turned out to be about 2 liters) and we filled it with the three ingredients. When my friend put the flame to it - KABOOM!

The explosion shattered the 4 big windows that separated our classroom from the other classroom and blew the tiles off the ceiling in about a 15 ft. diameter circle. It threw me against the wall that was perpendicular to the counter where our little work station was and sent my friend tumbling backwards a good 10 feet. I wasn't injured, but my friend separated his shoulder when he hit the ground. No other students were hurt, but it did make McKay Eckburg pee his pants because it scared him so badly, but that is another story for another time.

            that

When I was 6 or 7 I opened the gas cap on a pickup truck that had been sitting out in the summer sun. Apparently the heat caused enough pressure that when the cap was released, gasoline was forcefully expelled right in my face. My next memory is waking up in the bathtub with my mom splashing water into my face.

So so true. My friend and I made a dry ice bomb in a 2-liter bottle, threw it inside the Blockbuster Video in our neighborhood, yelled "bomb" and then watched from outside as it went off and all the customers and employees dropped to the ground for cover. What a stupid, stupid thing to do.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

We used to go down to an abandened grocery story next to some tennis courts and collects tennis balls that ended up on the roof. We would then take these balls over to the freeway underpass and lob the balls off in the middle of the night in the hopes of timing it right and hitting one of the cars going by. Never once hit one, but we could have killed someone, it was really stupid.

Well, one time instead of tennis balls, we had some bottlerockets, so we shot them off in the direction of travel. Of course instead of heading down the highway, it went straight towards the shoulder with the nice dry california grass. Instant wildfire. I thought we were going to burn down the county morgue that is nearby, but luckily they got it under control quickly. Man I was dumb.

That reminds me. My friend lived right by the freeway, and we would gather golf balls and hit them from his front yard over the freeway. Then we would go to the other side and collect them to do it all over again. Probably not the smartest thing in the world to be hitting golf balls directly at cars traveling 65-75 mph. We could easily have killed someone. So dang stupid.

We had a thread like this on CG, Surfah has some awesome stories.

For me I have quite a few.

The worst being stealing a backhoe from HE Davis construction, driving it down to Spanish Fork High School and trying to steal the spirit rock as a senior prank.

We would steal AOL CDs from blockbuster and go throw them at cars and on peoples driveways.

We would shoot potato guns over a busy street to a local business.

We would bury dry ice bombs and have a cat walk where we buried it to get it to shoot up.

pretty lame I guess compared to you guys.
