Apple Jan. 27 launch event... what will it be?

Where are you seeing this? I can't see anything on the website. My wife may want to take advantage of this. She has a 5, and wants to upgrade. Possibly just for new customers?

Probably a good deal if you have a 4 or 4S but I think you can get more than $200 for a 5 or 5S in good condition.

I have the SIII and it has been fine. I am lazy like MG and haven't bothered switching from Samsung (Started with the original Galaxy, SII, now the SIII and probably an S5 soon) is that I don't want to learn a new phone. It really is that simple for me. I don't use even 1/3rd of my phones capabilities as is.

I'd consider the new big iPhone, but I am too invested in android at this point. I remember I once scoffed when someone said the same about switching from iPhone a few years ago. But I honestly have everything synced through Google for better or worse. I need an upgrade. Still rocking my 2+ year old S3 and it's seen better days. Kind of waiting to see what the new Nexus looks like. Should be out next month. If not, maybe S5 though I don't care for the back of the phone.

I had the S3 for two years and upgraded to the S5 a few months ago. I actually like the size, feel, and form of the S3 better but I like everything else about the S5.

Too many issues pushed me to go with upgrading now. I thought about waiting on the next Nexus phone, but being made by Motorola and reports of a 5.9 inch screen made me less motivated to wait.

I just assumed that I would go with the Galaxy S5. However, the more and more I looked into the G3, it became the clear choice for me. You might want to consider that phone.

I don't know the specs. Are you saying it should be thinner? Or that they should have made it a 5.0 inch screen instead of whatever it is?

It's about the same size as the G3 which has a 5.5 inch screen.
