I just don't understand why people keep buying a phone with lagging specs simply because it is Apple.

By the way, I recently got the LG G3 and it really is a fantastic phone. The display convinced me to move away from Samsung and I'm happy with that decision.

This is a tired argument. There are plenty of reasons to buy an iPhone over other smartphones.

Exactly. What's the point of a watch like this if you still need your phone in your pocket? Maybe women will like it as they can keep their phone buried in their purse and still see who's calling or texting...but I'm not adding another thing to my person.

Ha. Is that the link you want to use to support your argument? According to the link you gave, the G3's camera is better than the iPhone 6 because it is 13 megapixel compared to 8 for the iPhone 6. That's what relying only on specs gives you, a stupid conclusion. Maybe the G3's camera is better, but you have to look at much more than the raw specs. Same can be said to varying extent for processors, etc. It's not just the specs, it's what you do with them.

They do have superior design, packaging, and salesmanship. No wonder they acquired Beats by Dre- the most beautiful mediocre headphone in the world.

I'd consider Apple if there wasn't a premium price attached to it without anything in return for that premium. iOS certainly has its advantages over Android, but it also has its disadvantages. It is nice that Apple has finally gone away from the postage stamp screen.

I got the LG G3 on contract at $49.99 a couple of weeks ago. You can typically get Android phones lower than the $199.99 contract price. This was for the G3 with 32 gigs of storage and 3 gigs of RAM.

Again, there are other reasons for buying an iPhone than price, specs, or because it's cool. My life has been much better since I went all Mac all the time. I'm happy to pay the premium for the hardware/software as it makes my life much easier.
