It's the last thing you want until you actually get a bigger screen, then you'd never go back. I had a 4 inch screen and then moved up to a 5 inch screen. There's no way in hell I'd ever go back to a 4 inch screen now. Apple insisting on a 3 inch screen until the end of 2012 is the reason why Android has, by far, the largest market share now.

I disagree, it's best for your unit to have both length and width. Those who don't think size matters are lying and are in denial of what they're missing and of the extra utility of what comes with more size. I'm able to manipulate things better with more size.

They should have made the Note bigger, you nailed it. Apple should have kept the screen size at 3 inches since that worked out so well and allowed Android to get an 80% market share worldwide despite starting out two years after the iPhone.

People would carry around a ten inch screen if they could put it in their pocket, as it is the Note doesn't pass the fit in your pocket test.

Seriously, why do any of you get the iPhone? Granted, my HTC was a piece of shit. But the Galaxy S4 and even the Moto X blow the iPhone away. Why put up with the small screen and a shitty OS? It's like buying a Caddy in 1989 instead of a BMW. You're buying an inferior product because of perceptions based on past glory. Why don't you go all the way and buy that new Blackberry? Blackberry was awesome in 2003. That seems like a pretty good reason to get another one.

Another reason is cost which is why Apple has release the 5c and dropped prices all around. But that is an interesting concession to make when you have positioned yourself as a premium product that deserves a premium price.
