    The 2014 model vs the 2015 model with the same upgrades would cost around $1,460 (if you cut the Applecare extension cost in half). The differences between the 2014 model and the 2015 model, as far as I can tell, are a 2.2 Ghz i7 vs. a 1.7 Ghz i7, and the graphics processor is Intel HD 5000 vs. Intel HD 6000 -- whatever the hell difference that is.

    The downside is there's a small mark (probably around a 10th of an inch or so) on the screen that you can see on a white background.

      Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

            For what its worth, I wouldn't buy a used computer either. And I fly on Southwest whenever possible.

                  Hypothetically speaking, it's not very waterproof. In fact, our young son spilled milk on the keyboard of my wife's about year or so ago and it never turned on again.

                      We received it today. It's in great condition, has two years left on Applecare. It's one year old with 176 cycles used on a battery that's supposed to go for 1000 until it only holds an 80% charge. And we saved $550.

                                I mostly use Bluetooth headphones, so it won't bother me much. But I can see why this might be a problem for a lot of people.
