Then they will all have to take jobs as Costco or Walmart or Home Depot checking receipts as you walk out the door. Then you can kill two birds with one stone as you flip off the person as you walk past them out the door.
Sadly. My FIL was not smart enough to do this and lost over half of his retirement.. And he was actually retired. My wife was blown away and made the same comment. Who in the hell keeps their money in the stock market after they are already retired???

Good news.. He has a sugar momma.. Bad news, She is working herself into the grave...

On behalf of my fellow boomers, this is for you and Mike:

No need to post the picture since everytime I get paid you give me the finger in the form of taking 12.4% of my earnings to pay for your retirement.

I have paid into the system for some 42 years now. I get a little summary of what I have paid in. Of course double that for what my employer has chipped in. Even if I had only made an average of 6% on the money as I put it in over that period of time, I am sure I would have enough money to live very, very comfortable until I was about 110.

That is when your 12.4% would have to start helping me. Don't blame the baby boomers, blame Finderson's buddy FDR.

Yeah, Eddie needs to brush up on his history. Social Security was a gift from the GREATEST generation.

I feel sad that I missed this thread because I was in the middle of 200,000+ baby boomers in Quartzsite, AZ. I don't think any of you know the good, bad and ugly of boomers like I do.

History was never my strong suit. I'm still convinced that Columbus wanted to prove the world was not flat.

Isn't it interesting that the greatest generation also were the parents of the boomers? They were good at fighting in wars, but sucked at raising kids.

You may have a point. They didn't want their kids to have the hardships they did.

Kind of reminds me of the dems. They are going to be the great parents and make sure no one has any hardships.

Personally, I'll just be glad to fix healthcare and education. Fix and/or socialize those two things and I might even vote Republican.

                            Isn't education already socialized? I guess that's 1 down 1 to go.

It is, which is why I said fix AND/OR socialize. But I don't think we will ever be able to fix public education as long as the wealthiest people are not invested in its success. How do we get the private education crowd to pony up for public education? Big challenge.
