That thing is enormous! I also nominate the Maddox chicken on main as a good thing about Layton.

Yep. It's now called Layton Parkway. And Doug And Emmy's has been gone for over year to make way for the interchange. Sill's moved up the road.

        Pho Kim Long

Caramel cashew at Nielsen's frozen custard

Hanging out at Ron Jaques auto sales in my youth

Feeling the glory of a rack for the first time in the mountains above Layton

        Adams Canyon

Finding my friend face down in the dirt on the fire break above Layton after drinking too much jagermeister

        Fat Albert's gym

        Thanks, Layton!
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Based on your current heterosexual marriage, I'm guessing you preferred her mountains to his canyon. Cool that you gave them both a shot, though!

            Good old Maddox Chicken.

McKell Maddox the granddaughter of the Maddoxes was on, I believe, Project Runway a season or two ago.

Also don't hate on Utahs Indoor Ocean Surf N Swim. The Racquetball courts there kick a!

There is also Chain Row with every restaurant imagineable. Also, now featuring Brick Oven!

Donut already gave a shout out to Tastys but I want to repeat the Double Blueberry.

            Dont hate on the 84040/1!

I endorse the mention of Tasty's, either one

Personally, I won't go anywhere near HAFB on the day of an air show, went once and that was enough, way to many people! My FIL lives up by US89 and has a really good view of the air show from his deck. That is where I will be watch them, plus I'll go see there fly-in the day before. They put on a pretty good show when they fly in.

My first and only hole-in-one occurred at the Valley View Golf Course in Layton. But that's it for me.

I gave up golf forever after playing on that course

I put a ball in the pond on 9 and threw my 7 iron in after it. I decided that if that game was going to do that to me, it wasn't worth it

One of the few things I legitimately have to have when I go to Utah. Love the caramel cashew.
