Inspired by a recent admission from our resident lothario, Art Vandelay, please confess/post/admit/advise us on your favorite or worst pick-up lines from your single days (you may also share current pick-up lines you use online while pretending to be single). You can also post some of your best dating strategies....the tried and true methods you used to impress that coed.

Admittedly, it will be tough to top Art Vandelay's offering....what is, in essence, the verbal equivalent of Spanish Fly: "do you want to go back to my apartment and see my mission pictures?"

But please feel free to amaze or underwhelm us with tales of mad game and skillz that once were. I am especially calling on our more seasoned vets....byu71, PAC, LA Ute, creekster, seattleute.....what kind of bait did you use on your lure back in the day? (not THAT, sickos!).

It will go without saying that posters such as surfah, FNPhat, et al...they will be allowed multiple entries (again, not THAT kind, sickos!)

DDD left out a very important post-script. I ended up sleeping with the girl I used that line on.

I can't ever recall using a pick up line. I'd get to know the girl in a group social setting and then at some point ask her out. That approach seemed to work just fine without having to resort to "if I said you have a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?"

Asa no ocha wa? (lit, (how about we have) morning tea?). Said as a joke to somebody who knew what it meant.

The art of Nanpa - using pick-up lines on random chicks to score - used to be a great thing. The above line (or a variation thereof) is one of the most common.

It's true. And while she didn't need to use it, that was her flirty personality.

I also had (the girl who would be later that year) Ms Teen Utah in my seminary class write that I was hot on the back of my neck one day during class. My friends all were pissed that I wouldn't ask her out. I just wasn't that into her. Missed opportunity I guess, but not really a regret.

In France last summer, I had men say, "Vous etes charmante. Voulez-vous prendre un petit cafe avec moi?" (You are charming. Do you want to get a small coffee with me?)

It was hard not to laugh at this phrase, especially when I would tell them I'm married and they would resond, "C'est pas un problem" (That's not a problem).

I never used cheesy pick up lines, unlike most of you losers I have game.

Although one time I was on the freeway and I saw a hot chick, pulled up next to her and asked her out, she said I have a boyfriend and my response was "its ok I dont know him" she laughed and gave me her number.

I never really had any lines. But can I get an honorable mention for creating a ward activity at BYU (Ward blind date) specifically for the purpose of getting myself set up with a girl who had recently moved into the ward? (I was ward activity chair).
