I have no idea where those messages are any more. I recently lost a hard drive. For all I know they may have been on that. Of course I wasn't under the same oath of secrecy that other crypt denizens had sworn, nor did I ever have any respect for the crypt as an institution of CG, so there you go.

You mean you don't open them up and read them on a regular basis to, you know, remind you of the good ol' days? I find that pretty hard to believe.Originally posted by RobinFinderson View PostI have no idea where those messages are any more. I recently lost a hard drive. There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Of course. You're under no obligation to delete those messages except the societal one which dictates that one ought not avail themselves of information that was meant to be private.Originally posted by RobinFinderson View PostI have no idea where those messages are any more. It would be a gesture of respect (to a group who, I admit, has not necessarily given you that same respect) if you promised to delete them should you find them.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

One possibility I guess.... another is that I'm an outsider who is rolling my eyes and thinks that there are more mature ways to solve bad feelings.... it's not like anyone is being physically stalked here.... Sheesh!Originally posted by Gidget View PostRobin? Is that you?

It was a friendly joke. I really wasn't trying to get your goat. I am Robin's biggest defender, and I consider him a friend. I am sure he took my post questioning another dupe account of his and chuckled.Originally posted by RoseBud View PostOne possibility I guess.... another is that I'm an outsider who is rolling my eyes and thinks that there are more mature ways to solve bad feelings.... it's not like anyone is being physically stalked here.... I agree with you Rosebud. I love this board, but I think some take this hobby way too seriously. Robin is a great contributor and we would all lose if he was not a part of our community here.I am a philosophical Goldilocks, always looking for something neither too big nor too small, neither too hot nor too cold, something jussssst right. You know how President Hinckley said he doesn't worry about those who pray? The same can be said for men who are self-aware enough to know when there's a life to be lived outside of the world of video games. - Anonymous

If Rosebud is Robin I AM ASTOUNDED by his ability to divorce his personality from his Robin persona.
Rosebud is a straight-talker who sometimes sounds a little like that sister missionary who was 23 when you were 19 and never let you forget how much older and wiser she was."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. There something a little jarring about the former Crypt community asking for a show of good faith on this.Have we been commanded not to call a prophet an insular racist? Link?

Wrong attitude, JL. Don't be coy.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostWhy, exactly? Are some people ashamed of what they posted in the Crypt?"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

My bad. I guess it is more acceptable to just outright assume that people are ashamed of what they posted in there.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostWrong attitude, JL. Don't be coy.
Maybe, in the spirit of truth and reconciliation, people could admit to things they regret posting and we can put all of this ugly business behind us.
