  • The One Millionth Post Festivities Thread

The site is about 32,000 posts shy of one milion. Thoughts? Are there plans for celebration? It seems there should be a prize for whoever does the one millionth post. Also, what about whoever has contributed the most posts? Maybe recognition based on content, more subjective appreciation?

Needless to say there should be a special award and recognition of gratitude for Waters. Maybe an apology (not an LDS strong suit, I know)? I hope everyone can bury the hatchet and he'll attend and accept the recognition.

          Great catch, SU. Thanks.

Given our average burn rate, we should hit the one million mark in about two months.

The forward-thinking architects of the Burger King in my neck of the woods included a conference room in the design of the restaurant. Let me know if you would like me to reserve it.

The millionth post should go in the Big 12 Expansion Groundswell thread.

                    Does that include deleted posts?

Looking at creeksters post above, it has a number of 1004663. Did we already hit 1,000,000 posts? Why the discrepancy?

What are you talking about? I don't see that number anywhere.

It is in the URL for a specific post. For example, this url should take you to your post:

Good catch, beefytee. So we passed one million almost 4,700 posts ago, I wonder who it was.

Classic SU. Posting stuff that was cool a month ago.
