About the new board name (cougarstadium.com)

i still have no idea what the goal was back when the decision was made to change the name, but it seems quite clear the board has slowed as a result of the change, which seems like the opposite of what you want to see happen with any message board, but i don't think lebowski cares much and he'd probably do it again even knowing what he knows now.

Many forums just slow down over time. I'm a member of several motorcycle forums that had a lot of activity 5-10 years ago, but are ghost towns now.

At least this one has enough activity to be worth a visit once a day, even if most of the posts are things that I'm not interested in.

Exactly. The board was successful and had a unique niche. It was the only cougar-Ute board. Then it became just another coug board behind cougarboard.com and cougarguard.com.
