I don't think it will happen overnight, but the already lopsided makeup of the board is going to skew even more blue. I also think the attitude here towards Utes is going to shift to more of a CBesque one of "why are you even here?" anytime a Ute says something unpopular. I know many don't think the name change is a big deal, but the message of "we hope you stay, but we really don't want any more of you here" feels a little hollow.

I would like to officially retract any of the criticisms that I made about the name change. The Dude made the right call. The gentle push that it helped give the Ute fans to start our own site will end up being good in the long run. This site can grow and develop its community and the Ute site can grow and develop its community. I will continue to be an active participant on this site and will continue to enjoy it.

Yeah, I think this will be best in the long run for both fanbases. And no reason at all we old friends can't continue to interact.

I understand the color scheme on the new site and the reason behind it. But man it is hard on the eyes. They may want to tone it down a bit. With that being said I don't ever plan on signing up (I am sure most would prefer that) or even visiting.
