Gotta agree with mpfunk, especially the bolded part. The new URL makes it look like an imitation of, well, you know. But verily The Dude Abides and in him have I placed my trust.Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost.

This post reminds me of all the Radiohead fans that were waiting for more music after the release of TKoL. They looked for clues in the album artwork, in the lyrics, in the music, convincing themselves that there had to be more than 8 tracks (some of them a bit mediocre for Radiohead).Originally posted by Brian View PostAt this point, true. But it sounds like there is more coming.
In the end, TKoL was all there was."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I don't get the claims that the TKoL was a mediocre Radiohead album. I actually really liked it. I'd rather listen to TKoL than OK Computer.Originally posted by Moliere View PostThis post reminds me of all the Radiohead fans that were waiting for more music after the release of TKoL. Maybe that was a reason for the change.Originally posted by UtahDan View PostIn 2013 this message board has more Utes and is less focused on BYU sports than it has ever been.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Look who's back.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI lvoe the new board name. Anything that pisses off Portland Ute and LAUte is a positive change.
I love all the whining about a board name like somehow this will drastically change lives.
Not surprised about the bitching it seems the majority on here are not happy unless they have something to complain about. This just adds fuel to the fire, maybe it will take the heat off JS for awhile. Lebowski is doing a good thing for the church.

Clearly we should settle on an acronym, then find a name that fits the acronym.

So how am I going to refer to this community now? Before, I just told my wife about things I read on 'the forum'. Now what? The stadium? The site formerly known as the forum???
Eh, whatevs."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."
