  • OK, I have a question. Overall, I like the mobile version of VB better than Tapatalk. But I have one issue that is driving me nuts. I am using iOS/Safari on my iPhone. When I bring up the site and log in, I select the "Remember Me" toggle, but it never remembers me. I have to re-login every stinking time I open the app. Even if I rotate to another app and then rotate right back, I have to login again. Anyone else have that problem? Is there a fix?

Doesn't happen to me. Do you have your Safari settings blocking all cookies, or preventing cross-site tracking? I have both of those turned off.

I had the cross-tracking thing on, but not the cookie blocking (that would do it for sure). I turned off the cross-site tracking but it didn't make a difference. Then I cleared all browser cache and history and it seems to be working now. Crossing my fingers.

        Thanks

If that doesn't work, try switching to an Android phone.

            • I just keep a browser tab open to CS. Never have to re-login. My only complaint is the arrow buttons in the new topics list are very small. I pretty much have to zoom in a bit, or hitting the arrow is a 50/50 proposition.

                  • Is Tapatalk permanently disabled? Using the browser on my phone isn't that difficult, but it's also not as easy as Tapa.use to be.

Yes. Too many security breaches. It got to the point where we were about lose our hosting service. Try the mobile version of VB5. It works great.

Is there a vbulletin app that you can use to access the site? Or were you just telling AV to access it with a mobile browser?

I downloaded a vbulletin app the other day after seeing their discussion. It only provided access to content about vbulletin - no access to sites that just run on vbulletin. So now I spend all my waking hours learning about vbulletin.

Sorry. Mobile browser. You can create a shortcut on your phone so it pretty much behaves like an app.

There is a way to make a custom "Cougar Stadium" app, but I am not sure it would give us much beyond the mobile browser and it looks like a pain to build and maintain.
