CUF server performance issues?

(Posting this stuff in case JL wants to document it)...

I got this message again about 2 minutes ago:

"The connection has timed out: The server at cougaruteforum.com is taking too long to respond."

I have received the same message this morning. The server is very slow again this morning.

It's taking me >10 seconds to load each thread. That's crazy long.

I am guessing that the CUF server is shared with a popular porn site that government workers like.

sure, laugh all you want. But you'll note that it was only after my pointed and detailed feedback that the site improved. (Flash can attest that after twelve years of marriage, I have a lot of experience with this approach.)
