This is a dark post and will do doubt be unpopular, but IMO it's one of the best we've had in the foyer. Seattle's posts are strong when he takes the time to put his facts together.

And will someone please hurry up and remember that Babs has an incredible Father Lehi post in that same thread? I don't dare nominate her for anything else or she'll get even more suspicious that I'm buttering her up for something. I NEVER butter women up seeing as how I've never known anything good to come from the practice. Besides..... this is starting to get embarrassing.

Seattle may well be MVP, btw. Of the foyer, certainly. Without him the whole thing would collapse under a weight of monolithism.

You've long been jealous of him. Now you want a lackey. What's next, will you suddenly become a Lakers fan and 'triple' your ppd average?
"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

                          • Due to stupid client demands, my wife's imminent return (compelling a housecleaning in the nature of deathbed repentance) and my own laziness, I won't have time to put together the Nominations List until Saturday. Therefore, nominations will continue to be accepted until around tipoff time Saturday. We have a number of good nominations, but we can always use more, so please send them along.

Meanwhile, if anyone could head over to my kitchen and clean up the the Everest of pans and dishes in the sink, I'd sure 'preciate it.

Well he should. I didn't realize you were responsible for him.

Call it the Fisher of Men award.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
