If I were going to buy a Snuggie, it would be the pink one, because some significant portion of the pink Snuggie sales are diverted to help fund research for the cure to breast cancer. As soon as I saw the pink Snuggie, I basically concluded that every not-pink-snuggie owner was a serious asshole. What kind of jerk likes blue so much that he would buy a blue snuggie instead of helping womens' breasts? Maybe if he was gay, or something. But that Ute Snuggie looks to be every bit as impressive as the pink breast cancer snuggie, as I'm sure that a significant portion of the sales are dedicated to helping to build homeless shelters for Ute grads.

I just cut the 's in my response to your Ellis Island post in half. I hope it was worth it.

If I nominate myself for the first 7 does that automatically increase my likelihood of getting number 8? I already have my "King of the world" speech ready if I make a clean sweep.

I sent my nominations via a PM. I was hoping that there would be a "best threadjack" category. This would be my nomination:

Stung by Wuap's gentle rebuke, I've added "Best Sports Post" to the list of categories. Feel free to make nominations in only one category, or as many as you'd like. As this thread has demonstrated, one could come up with a much lengthier list of worthy categories, but for several reasons (all of them compelling, honest) we'll keep the list short. And nominations will remain open through Wednesday, May 13.

If we're going to have gentile poster, shouldn't we have apostate? That's a way better field, anyway.

LOL! I'm planning a vacation whilst keeping an eye on CUF and I have May on my mind. Let's go with this Wednesday, January 13.

I'm treating them as one and the same; a kinder, gentler appellation.
