    All the hype

    I am new to the group and have been recruited by my hubby, HuskyFreeNorthwest. Now I guess I can read for myself all the things he talks about all the time. I hope this group lives up to all the hype! J/K. I probably won't be too active on this board, since someone in our home has to watch our three crazy kids.
    I graduated from BYU but grew up a Duck fan, so I embrace two allegiances. However, I am not a hater on any school, even you Utes. Don't tell my husband, but I don't even hate those Huskies.

      This was my impression of your betrothed the first time I saw a picture of him:

      "HFN I just saw your picture below. A chinstrap beard? You are one greasy dreadlocked hair style away from driving out to the Country fair in your VW bus and lighting up a few blunts with the rest of the Eugenites. Either that or wearing a plaid shirt and going down to Jiggles on your lunch hour.

      However, I really like your husband, in a non-sexual, never met him and have only seen him post on sports message boards kind of way. His sign at the airport for Utes a few years ago was one of the classic moves in the great rivalry history.

      I went to my nephew's wedding in Eugene last month. They were married at the some historic home across from the train station below Skinner's Butte. 1 of the groomsmen and 3 of the bridesmaids were all showing visible tattoos. And this was an LDS wedding... you got to love Duckburg.

          Hi, LDC. Your husband has always struck me as a little dyslexic about his sports allegiance, but pretty cool all the same.

                                          Please answer the following question, but think carefully about how you answer, as our future dealings on this board may depend in large part on how you respond:

                                          I have a full beard and my wife won't kiss me, much, with a mustache. I know two people who sport the BY look. I tried it for a day, but the looks I got while I was at Best Buy made me too self-conscious. Is the chin-strap beard HFNW rocks because you don't like to kiss mustachioed men? Or is it a paean to his pioneer ancestors?
