I work for CHW which is unionized for nurses. New nurses pull between 45 and 50K right out of community college. Within 5 years and including working extra shifts they can be pulling 85-90k/year and will make close to 80k working no extra shifts. Remember, that's 80k working 3 days/week. I have to think that this is one of the best returns on investment there is in this country, especially when the RN goes the AA route instead of the BSN.

I like it when nurses wear Spongebob scrubs.Originally posted by falafel View PostMy wife is currently making $46 an hour at a union hospital, although she's not a union member. I understand that Californian nurses can make more than that.
She only made $18 an hour her first year out of nursing school in Utah."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

I'm just trying to imagine you cleaning hair and feces and blood and stuff. But I'm sure I'm just underestimating your potential.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostFor your information I happen to have an excellent bedside manner. Don't try to discourage me from tapping into this talent.
