I wouldn't say zero, because it is certainly not. Police will investigate - they don't just turn a blind eye. But it's hard to get a conviction without a confession (yakuza are good at this) and without resources. And resources won't really be forthcoming unless there is outrage. And there is not outrage when the actions stay confined to a largely irrelevant group. I imagine there are similarities in motorcycle gangs, for example, although that is just a guess. I don't really care because, although I ride a Harley and likely have waved at more than a few 1%ers, they are pretty much irrelevant to me and I don't care that much if the Hells Angels shoot up the Mongols as long as I'm not involved.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostInteresting philosophy. Are the murder rates among gang members very high? I wonder if such an environment leads to lower gang enrollment rates. I imagine it's kind of scary knowing there is zero legal disincentive for someone else to kill you.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

So to sum up, you can kill a gang member there and get away with it unless you're extraordinarily unlucky.Originally posted by nikuman View PostI wouldn't say zero, because it is certainly not. I ignored it and let you kill a perfectly good thread once, but I have to speak up now. Please, keep your homoerotic fantasies to yourself. There is no place for them on this board.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Post

I love National! I go there every other week or so for a treat.Originally posted by nikuman View PostHiroo (don't let the missionaries tell you it is Hirou, although from a pronounciation standpoint it makes little difference) is a nice area. I always forget that fact. I shall use it to my advantage at some point, though!!!! BAHAHAHA MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!Originally posted by Babs View PostI am often asked how a female evangelical Sooner fan with no ties to Utah found her way to CG. It's a lesser-known fact that it's mostly on account of Tim (with some help from SoonerCoug, Ty Detmer, the 2006 midterm elections, and mid-twentieth-century absurdist drama) that I ended up on CG 3(!) years ago. Interestingly enough, even though he invited me, once I got to the board, I noticed that Tim didn't actually hang around CG much. It's cool to have him active again.Visca Catalunya Lliure
