Hello everyone. I have been lurking for a while, so I thought that I would create a profile and contribute to the discussion.

For the record, I am a Utah graduate and Ute fan. During my college years, I was a little stalkerish of Andre Miller, and wanted to bear his children. However, I have extreme Ute celebrity anxiety and never came within 15 feet of him. The AMA is looking into my condition, but it was a comedy and a tragedy all at the same time.

I began my Ute fandom as a basketball fan. March Madness is my passion, but I have been converted to Ute football as well, which I now follow with equal passion and zeal. My first year of regularly attending football games was 2002, Mac's last season. We sucked, but I found myself drawn to the atmosphere of the games.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. This forum has been intriguing thus far.

No. Something about the plethora of spoiled, bratty men in pro sports has turned me off. I prefer the kids who play so they can get a college education. . .or, just want the chance to play pro. A bit more compelling, at least for me.

uf.net's occasional derogatory reference led me here. BTW, once I was here, I have to say the female voices on this board are what caused me to stay, along with the usual level of discourse between Utah/BYU fans.

Gabrielle cut off her hair, and the men fled the show in droves, ala Felicity. (At least, I think there were "droves" up men watching the show). What's up with that? I can tell you, once Lorenzo Lamas cut off his locks, he became infinitely more attractive. Yeah, I'm a child of the 80's.
